MLB Law, LLC is the legal entity that operates the law practice known publicly as the Law Offices of Michael L. Brown, Jr., also referred to as MLB Law. Both names refer to the same business, located at 403 E. White Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730. All text messages sent under the SMS program described in Section 6 originate from MLB Law, LLC.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

3. NO ATTORNEY CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
Using this website, submitting a form, starting a chat, or sending us an email does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only after we complete a conflicts check and both sides sign a written engagement agreement. Until then, please do not send us confidential or time sensitive information.

6. SMS PROGRAM TERMS
Program description. MLB Law operates an SMS program for consultation scheduling and confirmations, court date and appointment reminders, requests for documents needed for an active matter, and replies to questions about your matter. It is a non-marketing program. We do not send promotional or advertising text messages.
How you opt in. You opt in by entering your phone number in the chat widget on this website. By doing so you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from MLB Law at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any service and is not a condition of legal representation.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
Fees. Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.
How to opt out. Reply STOP at any time to any message to opt out. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages after that. UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, and CANCEL also work.

Carriers. The program is supported on major United States mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use this website to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content, to interfere with its operation or security, or to collect information about other visitors. You agree not to use automated means to access the site in a way that burdens our systems.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last revised. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
